How awesome would a musical weatherman be? He would be on the news and give the regular forecast and stuff just like a normal weatherman, only he would make a catchy song out of it. Not only is it more entertaining than the regular weather report, but it also helps you to remember what was reported. If you ever forget the forecast, you can just start singing the song and ta-da! You now know what the weather is going to be like!
He could even get the entire station in on it, with the news anchors dancing both in the studio and on location. Then at the end of the week, they have a party-mix of all of that week's songs and just have fun. And dance and sing and stuff. On the news.
It could help cheer everyone up after all of the depressing news about… depressing stuff.
This idea was inspired by the music video for "Kids" by MGMT (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bIEOZCcaXzE&feature=fvw). Specifically, the dancing weatherman in said video.
……………….and he could also be a SUPERHERO!!! Musical Weather Man! Or MWM (pronounced muh-wuhm) for short. He fights crime with the forces of improvisational dance numbers and partly cloudy skies with a chance of rain as we move on into Tuesday!
