Cortex Command

I'm actually surprised that I haven't blogged about this yet.

CORTEX COMMAND is an pc game.  CORTEX COMMAND is currently being independently created by a group known as Data Realms.  However, they release each successive build of CORTEX COMMAND to the public.  One can download a demo of CORTEX COMMAND for free.  One can also buy CORTEX COMMAND.  CORTEX COMMAND's price is currently at about half of the expected, final price.  With each successive build of CORTEX COMMAND, the price will increase until it reaches $40.  Thus, the sooner you buy CORTEX COMMAND, the better the deal, as buying CORTEX COMMAND gives you a license to download all subsequent builds.... of CORTEX COMMAND.

Now, onto CORTEX COMMAND itself.  CORTEX COMMAND is a third-person shooter with a very powerful physics engine.  This means that in CORTEX COMMAND, almost everything reacts as one would expect it to in real life.  For example, when a rocket takes too much damage, it doesn't just disappear in a puff of explosive effects; it really explodes, creating a localized shock wave and launching debris in all directions.  It might not sound incredibly exciting, but trust me: the physics of CORTEX COMMAND make an incredible difference when compared with other games.

I would include a .gif of CORTEX COMMAND's amazing action in action, but proxy-sweeper is being uncooperative.  So yeah.  Just imagine everything in the above image exploding into a million pieces... a million beautiful, well-calculated, pieces.
