in that when one procrastinates, they spend their time doing other things now, and having to work later, in the same way that when one uses a credit card, they get whatever they bought now, and have to pay for it later.
To further this analogy, one could say that time and money are very similar... so I will.
Time and money are very similar. There even exists the old adage that time IS money.
So how are they similar? Well, they both come in limited supplies. We must budget both our time and our money. Effective management of either, if not both, can make one's life a lot easier.
However, there exists an important difference between time and money: we can earn more money, but we can't earn more time.
Of course, with medicine and modern medical science, one can slightly extend their lifespan. However, a person is still limited to about 100 years or less.
Money, on the other hand is alot easier to earn than time. One can get a job and work for it. One can invest and make it grow. Their are many many more methods for increasing money than their are for increasing time.
